Int | A cycle paused or stopped running | On average, spinning and draining cycles run for 20 to 30 minutes. If the code displays during this cycle. press the pause or cancel button twice and the power button once. If the code still appears, stop, and unplug the machine. |
rL/F34 | Foreign objects are detected in the Whirlpool washer during the Clean Washer cycle. | Open the washer door to remove any items in the drum the restart the Clean Washer cycle. |
SUD/Sd | Too much soapy suds in the machine | Too many suds in the machine will block the spinning cycle so the machine will automatically add more water and run the rinse cycle longer to remove the excess suds. F8 | Water dispenser system error | This error code is on select models only and indicates that there is a problem with the water dispenser system. Check for and clean the detergent cartridge or drawer to make sure there are no clogs. |
F9 | Drain times error | This error code will come on if the drain times are longer than 8 minutes. Make sure there are no kinks or clogs in the drain hoses. Make sure the drainpipe height is between 99 cm (39 in) and 244 cm (96 in). Use high efficiency detergent to prevent excess suds that could also slow drainage times. |
PE | Water pressure level failure | Inspect and clean the water pressure sensor to make sure there is no caked on dirt or hard water debris. If the sensor is clean, it could be faulty and need to be replaced. |
F21 | Drainage error | This code indicates there is an issue with the drain pump or drainage hose and the water cannot drain out properly. Check for any blockages in the pump or hose at the bottom of the machine. If the pump or hoses are faulty, they will need to be replaced. |
HC | Hot and cold inlet hoses error | This error means the hot and cold inlet hoses have not been installed correctly. It will appear at the end of the wash cycle. After turning off the water supply, correct the hose connection and run the cycle again to make sure the inlet hoses are properly connected. |
